In 1998 the MacKay family opened a small community pharmacy located in Richards Landing, Ontario on St. Joeseph Island, in efforts to better serve rural health care needs in the area. MacKay’s Island Pharmacy continued to expand their specialty pharmacy practice knowledge and expertise by offering veterinary medicine and compounding natural health products. Today the MacKay family and their health care team, continue the Prescription Centre tradition by offering quality care, unmatched service, and putting the patient above everything else. They continue to expand into specialty care areas and push the boundaries of traditional pharmacy practice.

MacKay’s Island Pharmacy and the Prescription Centre work as advocates for patient health and work with our patient’s health care providers to make sure that they receive the best possible health outcomes. We provide education on all our health products and their related disease states.
