Hal built our deck with a bbq station. Looks amazing. He's really busy so it took longer than we expected but it's done. It's quality work to say the least. One knock is he has too many jobs going at the same time so we felt a little neglected. But after seeing the finished product we think the wait was definitely worth it.
I called Northern Son because of the positive reviews I’ve seen. They were all very correct. Hal did an amazing job. New tub, walk-in shower, vanity, custom made mirror cabinet. We couldn’t be more pleased.
Super guy to have in my home to do a job that has become the center piece of our home. I called Northern Son to tear down a wall and build an Island which trnasformed out house into and open concept home for my wife, 2 girls and myself. We were concerned that the wall being removed was load bearing, but Hal knew exactly what to do. Reinforced it from the basement up with jack stands and reinforced ceiling joists. Then he built an Island that flawlessly matches the flow of our kitchen and open concept. IF you're looking for an expert local carpenter then call Hal. We didn't have a single complaint from the min he came to our house to show us what we needed to do to achieve the kitchen concept my wife and i have talked about and wanted done for several years. Experience in an Intricate Trade like his has been learned and passed down by his father at a very young age ,something that is rarely seen in Today's World.

Hal looks after all the work in our rental units. His profesianalism is top notch as well as his work. He has done quite a few jobs in our units and we have no complaints at all.. The jobs are done right the first time. I highly recommend Northern Son Woodcraft and Carpentry 5 star for sure.
